Job summary

Village Super Market seeks an ERO (Efficient Retail Operations) & Special Projects Manager to lead ERO, CGO, and strategic initiatives across stores. You will analyze data, develop workflow improvements, and coordinate cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and execution of day-to-day business.

Travel approximately 80% between store and company locations, with a focus on implementing projects from planning through completion and presenting updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to independently create Excel models, charts, graphs, and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

• Strong project management skills to drive initiatives from concept through completion.

About the Role:

The ERO (Efficient Retail Operations) & Special Projects Manager takes a strategic and organizational approach to managing projects, ERO store operations, and the CGO software program. This role collaborates across the Village organizational structure to develop workflow and accountability strategies that improve store conditions, support execution of day-to-day business, and advance broader business strategy. The position also develops and collects data to improve program performance, monitors trends, and serves as project manager for strategic initiatives

What You’ll Do:

• Manage ERO, CGO, and special projects from planning through execution.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvements that support business needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional workflows and ensure projects stay on track.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and performance measures for strategic initiatives.
• Maintain operational calendars and incoming work processes to improve organization-wide efficiency.
• Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and project updates to key stakeholders.
• Support department budget requirements and lead financial inventory count activities.
• Prioritize projects and initiatives based on business needs and organizational objectives.
• Partner with field teams to drive execution and accountability.
• Stay current on CGO processes, system enhancements, and opportunities for improvement.
• Travel approximately 80% between store and company locations
