Job summary

Wellworth Bank is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Specialist to support the Chief Risk Officer in developing and administering the ERM program across the bank. The role coordinates risk assessments, maintains risk reporting, and promotes a strong risk culture, while supporting compliance and risk management activities through special projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in banking/risk management, strong analytical skills, and experience with board-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years in banking/risk management or related fields.
• Experience with enterprise risk management, compliance, internal audit, CRA or Fair Lending preferred.
• Ability to prepare board and executive-level reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience creating dashboards and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management Program.
• Maintain the enterprise risk inventory and risk/control documentation.
• Coordinate and facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) across all business units.
• Assist management in identifying, assessing, measuring, monitoring, and mitigating strategic, operational, credit, compliance, liquidity, reputation, and emerging risks.
• Monitor adherence to the Bank's Risk Appetite Statement and established risk limits.
• Develop and maintain Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and risk dashboards.
• Prepare risk analysis, trend reports, and executive-level risk summaries.
• Coordinate issue management activities with the Audit Liaison and monitor remediation of audit, examination, and compliance findings.
• Assist with enterprise-wide risk reporting for management committees, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors.
• Maintain ERM program documentation, policies, procedures, and committee records.
• Support implementation of risk governance frameworks and risk management best practices.
