Job summary

Contour Airlines in Houston, TX seeks a Ground School Instructor for ERJ 135/145 ground training to support the Part 135 Pilot Training Program. You will deliver aircraft systems training and evaluate student knowledge, contributing to standardized, high‑quality training across the program.

The role requires strong communication, leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must read, write and communicate in English clearly and professionally.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ERJ ground training in accordance with Part 135 PTP, SOPs, and lesson objectives.
• Facilitate classroom instruction covering aircraft systems, procedures and policies.
• Administer and support examinations and knowledge assessments; document results.
• Identify knowledge gaps and coordinate corrective instruction or remediation.
• Coordinate with Training, Flight Standards, Safety and Scheduling to support execution.
