Job summary

Wealthspire Advisors is seeking a Plan Administrator to support complex retirement plan administration projects. This role combines deep ERISA knowledge with the ability to guide clients through regulatory challenges and complex plan issues.

The successful candidate will work with our Special Projects team to provide technical research, analysis, and guidance, helping clients navigate compliance and plan health while expanding client relationships.

Qualifications

• ERISA and plan administration expertise required.
• Relationship-building skills to guide clients through regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

• Provide plan administration & compliance for multiple clients including DB/DC/H&W 5500 preparation and corrective calculations.
• Perform non-discrimination and compliance testing (ADP/ACP, 410(b) coverage, top-heavy, 415 annual addition, 401(a)(4) cross-testing).
• Calculate and allocate employer contributions.
• Assist clients with corrections through governmental programs.
• Reconcile payroll contributions and employee census for plan eligibility.
• Interpret trust documents and reconcile trust assets with statements.
• Ensure adherence to government filing and regulatory requirements.
• Develop relationships with clients, advisors, recordkeepers, auditors.
• Identify opportunities for new business development.
• Review and summarize plan data for advisors and clients.
• Stay current on ERISA and industry developments.
• Pursue continuing education and credentialing.
