Job summary

Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics is seeking an Ergonomist to assess ergonomic risks, perform detailed analyses, and collaborate with clients to craft tailored solutions. You will identify risk factors and propose practical improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity across industries.

The ideal candidate has a B.S./M.S. in a related field and 1–2 years of ergonomics experience, with comfort presenting results to clients and traveling to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Hold a B.S. or M.S. in Kinesiology, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Occupational Biomechanics, Ergonomics, or a related discipline
• 1-2 years of experience in industrial ergonomics
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments
• Experience or certification in ergonomic assessment tools (e.g., NIOSH equations, RULA, REBA, Digital Human Modeling) is preferred
• Display strong communication skills, including experience creating reports and delivering presentations to client contacts
• Be willing to travel for occasional local site visits and regular travel between client facilities
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
