Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician for a fast-paced ICU/ER role. The position offers a sign-on bonus and a starting pay range of $22–$40 per hour, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

An annual education stipend and ongoing training opportunities are provided to support your professional growth. Responsibilities include triage, CPR, IV catheter placement, ventilator care, and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICU and ER/Triage is desirable.
• This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Sign-on bonus is offered for eligible RVTs.
• We offer education stipends and ongoing training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients.
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.
