Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Raleigh, NC seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus, competitive hourly pay, and a competency-based advancement path.

You will work nights and weekends in a fast-paced ICU/ER setting, perform triage, CPR, IV placement, ventilator care, and collaborate with skilled staff while mentoring others. Benefits include education stipend and pet-insurance discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICU and ER/Triage preferred.
• Currently licensed RVT in the United States.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVs and catheters (Jugular/Central/PICC).
• Monitor ventilator cases.
• Collaborate with skilled technicians and assistants.
• Mentor and train colleagues.
• Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite with their families.
