Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets in Scottsdale, Arizona, is looking for a dedicated Emergency Veterinary Technician. In this fast-paced position, you will provide critical care and monitoring while working closely with patients and clients. You'll be expected to evaluate incoming patients, educate clients on treatments, and assist with various veterinary procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience required, previous emergency experience desired.
• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver organized rounds, discuss cases and gather information.
• Evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment.
• Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients.
• Induce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation procedures.
