Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Monterey, CA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER Team on a Thursday through Sunday schedule. You will deliver high‑quality emergency care, monitor anesthesia, perform radiography, and support critically ill or injured pets.

Pay ranges from $25.63 to $49.19 per hour depending on experience and Kahuna leveling, with additional shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician with ER experience.
• Proficient in anesthesia monitoring and radiography.
• Ability to manage and triage emergency cases.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia and use related equipment.
• Triage emergency cases and record vitals and alarms.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique and positioning.
• Interpret vitals and alert veterinarians to changes.
• Place IV catheters and manage patient monitoring.
• Mentor and train other staff; address client concerns.
