Job summary

Oak Heart Emergency is seeking experienced veterinary professionals for our emergency team. We require rapid decision making, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment to deliver exceptional care to animals in urgent situations.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate confidence in canine and feline handling, clear communication, and a commitment to excellence. Availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary emergency medicine.
• Ability to triage and assess critical cases.
• Proficient in nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Experience with radiography and diagnostic imaging.
• Experience with anesthesia and monitoring.
• Knowledge of medication administration routes.
• Ability to place IV catheters and prepare for surgery.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess critical cases.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Support examinations with clinical procedures.
• Monitor anesthetized and critically ill patients.
• Perform radiography and diagnostic imaging.
• Assist with anesthesia and monitoring.
