The role involves handling emergencies, maintaining records, and assisting in surgery prep and aftercare.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous ER experience.
• Proficient in IV Catheter placement, Jugular blood draws, Cephalic/saphenous/femoral cat blood draws, patient monitoring, digital x-ray positioning, triaging, proper restraint of dogs & cats, surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, and administering injections.

Aufgaben

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and their owners, record weight and vital signs on arrival.
• Triage patients, perform exams, treatments, and administer medication as directed by LVTs.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications or patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment, kennels, and facilities; ensure chemical safety.
