GOLDBERG VETERINARY SERVICES is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our growing walk-in emergency veterinary practice in Savannah, GA. We value excellent communication, patient care, and a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in veterinary medicine, emergency/urgent care, or a busy general practice, with strong skills in monitoring patients, anesthesia support, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary medicine or urgent care setting.
• Strong nursing and patient-monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for emergency and hospitalized patients.
• Assist with emergency procedures, surgery, anesthesia, and monitoring.
• Obtain patient histories and communicate with clients clearly.
• Place/manage IV catheters and administer medications.
• Perform Diagnostics including radiographs and lab testing.
• Educate clients on diagnoses and discharge instructions.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and support team.
