Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support including processing emergency physician orders and computer entry.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages for physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Coordinate paperwork for the unit and maintain inventory of forms and supplies.
• Maintain bed-management data in the system and perform charge entry duties.
• Assist in coordination of emergencies and codes.
• Greet and assist patients, families, visitors and staff with courtesy and professionalism.
