Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a Clinic Triage RN for the South Providence Family Clinic in Columbia, MO. This on-site role supports patient triage by phone, guiding individuals to appropriate care or self-care advice, and documents encounters in the EMR for continuity of care.

Responsibilities include potential direct patient care within the clinic, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing professional development in telehealth nursing. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or multi-state licensure.
• One year of RN experience.
• Ambulatory care experience (1 year) preferred.
• Three years RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and triages patients by phone, guiding care or self-care advice.
• Documents encounters in the EMR with action plans and follow-up.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
• May perform direct patient care within clinic based on competency.
• Adheres to evidence-based triage protocols and maintains nursing knowledge.
