MU Health Care in Missouri is seeking a Triage Emergency Services Representative to support the Emergency Services team on-site. The role focuses on coordinating department activities, handling communications, and assisting patients, families and staff with a patient-centered approach.

The position works 3 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. It includes base pay and shift differentials for weekend and evening shifts, with on-site work in a Level 1 Trauma

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of customer service experience; 60 hours of college coursework may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support; process emergency physician orders and computer entry.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and take messages for physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Maintain bed-management system and perform charge entry duties.
• Assist in coordination of emergencies and codes.
• Greet patients and coordinate department activities with a patient-centered approach.
