Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for ER travel assignment in Illinois. This 13-week, 12-hour night shift requires 3+ years in the Emergency Department and 1 year travel experience, with a valid license and BLS/ACLS.

Knowledge of EPIC EMR is preferred, and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 applies during surge times. Responsibilities include fast-paced patient care, EKGs, IVs, and managing diverse cases from neonates to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Emergency Department experience.
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Strong IV skills.
• Ability to obtain EKGs and monitor patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced ED with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
• Maintain high-quality care for diverse patient populations including neonates and geriatrics.
• Assist with ED procedures, meds, and drips as ordered.
