Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Olympia Field, Illinois. Emergency Room (ER) RN Night shift; 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 13 weeks.

The RN will deliver high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced ER setting, conducting assessments and treatments and coordinating with the care team. Requirements include an active state RN license, BLS and ACLS, with at least one year of staff RN experience in acute or critical care, and

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital or critical care setting.
• COVID vaccination/boosters (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care within scope of practice in the ER.
• Guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient condition and results.
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status.
