Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The ER RN will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced hospital setting with ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications.

Ideal candidates are experienced RNs with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and the ability to manage triage, documentation, and patient care under physician guidance. Travel benefits are included.

Qualifications

• RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• ER travel assignment requirements include critical care competencies.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history and vital signs, monitor patients.
• Assist with and monitor care while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
