Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Montgomery, Alabama. This 13-week travel opportunity features 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, targeting nurses with 1–2 years of acute care experience. Start date 10/19/2026.

As an ER Travel Nurse, you will evaluate, triage and care for patients in a fast-paced environment, document histories, monitor vitals and support families. ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIH and related certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ER travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history and allergies; monitor patient vital signs.
• Provide basic bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and patient comfort.
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment; report safety concerns and suspected abuse.
