Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Montgomery, Alabama. Start date 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, night 12-hour shifts in a busy Level II ER.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of critical care experience, with recent Level II trauma exposure and Cerner/EPIC proficiency. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS; TNCC preferred. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of critical care experience with the most recent year in a Level I-II ER
• Cerner or EPIC experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure/CPI, NIHSS; TNCC required

Responsibilities

• Care for multi-system trauma patients (Level II) including STEMI, STROKE, CHF, COPD and other complex conditions
• ER coverage with a high patient volume; ED ratios around 1:4
• Assist with trauma transfers and critical care procedures as needed
