Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position in Illinois. The candidate must hold an active IL RN license and have a minimum of two years ER experience, with Epic EMR proficiency reflected in past employment.

The role is full-time with 12-hour day shifts, weekends required, and some holidays. Orientation includes an Epic test-out, facility interview, and licensure/relocation support for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC/TNS certifications.
• Minimum 2+ years ER experience; 4+ years preferred.
• Epic EMR experience must be reflected in employment history.
• New graduates not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a hospital ER setting.
• Full-time, 12-hour day shifts with weekends required.
• Limited holidays; some flexibility on the third day.
• Uses Epic EMR for documentation.
• Participate in the facility interview and 2-day paid orientation.
• Pass an on-site EKG test (pass/fail) on orientation Day 1.
