Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in the United States. The role requires a minimum of 2 years ER experience and a prior travel contract.

The ideal candidate holds an IA (or compact) RN license, current BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, Epic EMR experience, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation includes housing allowance and travel/licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

Active RN license (IA or compact) required; IL license candidates must hold or be applying for IA license.
Minimum 2 years ER experience required
At least one completed travel contract required
Experience with critical IV drips including pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation
Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities

Level 4 trauma center Emergency Department setting
13-week contract with 36- or 48-hour options
Afternoon shift with 12-hour shifts (12:00 PM–12:00 AM; start times 10:00/11:00/12:00)
Weekend package required (Fri–Sun)
No on-call requirements
May float within the same discipline across local campuses
Provide professional nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary ED team
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility
Work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving)
Limited to 1 day off during 11/26–11/30 and 12/23–1/2 periods
