Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for our Level 1 Trauma Center on the Main Campus. The role includes patient assessment, triage, trauma care, and performing procedures such as IV insertion, blood draws, and Foley catheter placement.

Shift is 7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays, offering exposure to high-acuity pediatric to adult patients. Required credentials include Ohio RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, TNCC and NIHSS; PRN requires 1 year of RN experience and all

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current TNCC certification or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Current NIHSS Stroke certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
