Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department. The role involves caring for acutely ill pediatric to adult patients in a fast-paced trauma setting.

Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS with Ohio RN licensure. The unit features 93 beds and 10 trauma bays, offering strong benefits and OPERS retirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio
• AHA BLS/ACLS or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC certification or obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Provide trauma care, IV insertion, blood draws, and Foley procedures.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, BOs, and providers to ensure optimal patient care.
