Job summary

MetroHealth System's Cleveland Heights Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts in a busy ED serving acutely ill pediatric to adult patients. You will perform patient assessments, triage, and essential procedures while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Requirements include Ohio RN licensure, BLS/ACLS (or within 90 days), and PRN availability with 1 year of RN experience in the specialty. Benefits and OPERS retirement are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS, ACLS, or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIHSS certifications or obtained within specified timelines.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience in the specialty.
• Current certifications must be maintained at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage in a high-acuity ED setting.
• Administer IVs, draw blood, and manage Foley catheter insertions.
• Collaborate with Paramedics, PCNAs, and Providers to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
