Job summary

Incredible Health in Columbia, MD is actively hiring an Emergency Department RN to deliver urgent care, assess trauma patients, and collaborate with physicians. Shifts include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years ER experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care.
• Treat patients suffering from trauma, injury, or severe conditions.
• Quickly assess needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and others to develop care plans and determine discharge or admission.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
