Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients requiring urgent medical care.

• Quickly assess needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and others to develop care plans and determine discharge or admission.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
