Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This full‑time night shift (7p–7a) role focuses on coordinating patient care and delivering safe, evidence‑based nursing across the continuum.

The RN must hold an Illinois nursing license with BLS and ACLS; PALS within 3 months of hire; and at least 1 year of RN experience in ED, Telemetry, or ICU. ED experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by Illinois.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS certification required; PALS within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in ED, Telemetry or ICU.
• ED RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead with evidence-based practice to ensure a safe patient environment and high-quality care.
