Exceptional Health Care is seeking an experienced Inpatient Registered Nurse for PRN shifts at our NEW Community Hospital. The role focuses on emergency care and requires initiative, flexibility, and professional judgment under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years in a hospital setting.
• Telemetry/ICU experience preferred.
• Current TexasNursing License.
• Current CPR and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good organization habits.
• Ability to care for adult to geriatric patients.
• Excellent teaching skills.
• Basic knowledge of continuous quality improvement ideology.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with physicians, and adjust nursing care as needed.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient status and test results.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintain up-to-date nursing documentation and patient histories.
