Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks an Emergency Medical Technician/ER Technician to support nursing staff across Wisconsin facilities. You will collect vital signs, take specimens, perform basic lab tasks, and assist with admissions and discharges while maintaining patient safety and privacy.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and EMT-paramedic pathways or nursing school enrollment; fluency in English is essential. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS preferred in many markets.
• EMT-P/EMT-A/EMT-B pathways or nursing school enrollment acceptable.
• PALS preferred; prior ER/acute care experience a plus.
• Wisconsin market experience preferred where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Collect, report, and document clinical data; take vital signs and collect specimens.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and procedures.
• Assist with patient activities and care as indicated by the plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care and patient safety measures.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Provide and maintain a clean, safe environment; apply aseptic technique.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings or mandated company meetings; perform additional duties.
