Job summary

Holy Cross Health, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, seeks a Part-time Emergency Department Tech for rotating night shifts in Silver Spring, MD. You will work under a nurse or provider, delivering care support, collecting and documenting data, and assisting with treatments while maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in high school, in process of completing GED or has obtained high school diploma or GED.
• Specialty license, certification, training or experience according to assignment area.

Responsibilities

• Collect, communicate, and document data and information.
• Perform diagnostic testing, surveillance, and monitoring.
• Assist with and perform treatments and procedures.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies.
• Assist with the transportation of patients, supplies, specimens, and medications.
• Respond to emergencies, including the initiation of emergency measures.
• Perform associated and delegated duties in support of departmental and hospital operations.
• Work under the direction of a registered nurse or provider to perform trained and competency-validated tasks.
