Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital in Hoboken, NJ is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include equipment cleaning, stocking, transport, and monitoring cardiac rhythms with rhythm documentation and RN notification.

The role requires EMT or CNA certification and BLS-AHA certification, with preference for relevant experience. Work hours include 3pm–11:30pm with weekend rotation and 24 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• EMT certification or CNA required.

• Relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, basic patient care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Care and cleaning of equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment, and transportation of patients, supplies and equipment; monitor central station monitors, interpret rhythms, document rhythm strips, and notify the RN of rhythm changes.
• Perform all blood specimen collection for ER patients by venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick according to policy.

Salary Range: $26.38 To $27.77 Annually

What You'll Be Doing
