Job summary

Hudson Regional Health in Hoboken, NJ is seeking an ER Tech to support emergency department operations. You will provide direct patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and assist with equipment cleaning, stocking, and patient transport.

You will monitor central station monitors, interpret cardiac rhythms, document rhythm strips, and perform all blood specimen collections by venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick. EMT or CNA certification is required, with BLS-AHA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• EMT certification OR CNA required.
• BLS-AHA certification required.
• Relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
• Clean and stock equipment, and transport patients and supplies; monitor central station monitors and rhythms.
• Perform venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick for blood specimens as per policy.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification OR Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Relevant experience (preferred)

3pm to 11:30pm. Rotational weekends Saturday and Sunday.
