Job summary

Appling Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to assist in patient examinations and treatments under the Nurse Manager's supervision. The role requires handling vital signs, preparing supplies, and maintaining patient records during a 7pm-7am shift in Baxley, GA.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), CPR certification within 90 days, and basic English communication skills. Prior clinical experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under supervision.
• Record vital signs and patient information in medical records.
• Prepare supplies and hand instruments to providers during examinations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments.
• Assist with rapid registration of urgent or emergent patients.
• Report changes in patient condition to the nurse supervisor promptly.
• Explain procedures to patients prior to care and prepare them for exams.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and ensure charts are up to date.
