Job summary

East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA seeks an ER Technician to support the Emergency Department. You will assist with direct patient care under licensed staff, help with transport, and ensure a clean, stocked environment while maintaining clear communication with the care team.

You will document care in the EMR, respond to emergencies, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with ancillary services to support seamless patient care. Experience in emergency care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in emergency or clinical settings preferred.
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols.
• Ability to document patient care accurately in EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under licensed staff supervision.
• Assist with patient transport to/from units and procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized environment.
• Communicate changes in patient status to care team promptly.
• Document care activities in EMR accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with care tasks as needed.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Support clerical tasks and coordination with ancillary services.
