Job summary

Enloe Health seeks an ED Technician to support patient flow in the Emergency Department. You will perform basic patient care under RN supervision, obtain vital signs, place patients in rooms, and assist clinicians during evaluations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and teamwork in a busy, high-acuity environment. Minimum qualifications include EMT training or six months ED or pre-hospital experience, CPR certification, and strong knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Minimum: EMT training or six months ED/pre-hospital experience
• CPR Certification required
• Must be able to interact professionally with physicians, staff, patients and the public

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow in the Emergency Department.
• Obtain vital signs and place patients in exam rooms.
• Assist clinicians with evaluation and procedures.
• Ensure area is orderly and stocked with supplies and equipment.
