Job summary

Tennova Healthcare- North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to support the ED team by providing direct patient care under licensed staff supervision. Qualifications

• Technical School completion of Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant courses required
• Certified Nursing Assistant, certified Basic EMT, certified Phlebotomist, or certified Medical Assistant preferred
• 0-1 years of clinical experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department with various clinical interventions and procedures under licensed staff
• Assist with patient transport to/from units, procedural areas, or discharge destinations
• Maintain clean, organized environment; adhere to infection control standards and restock supplies
