Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking an ED Technician to support the Emergency Department team. You will assist in patient care activities under a licensed nurse, maintain a safe and clean environment, and help with procedures and documentation as part of the health care team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and CNA or EMT I certification. Prior patient care experience is preferred, with familiarity in EKG or medical terminology advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Applies simple dressings.
• Assists registered nurse and physician with procedures.
• Coordinates desk for phone calls, order entry, charge adjustments, transfers, stocking supplies, and other duties as assigned.
• Monitors and documents vital signs.
• Willingly performs other duties and innovations as assigned.
