Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to assist with decontamination, sterilization, and processing of supplies, and to support patient care under RN supervision. The role requires current BLS, medical terminology, and English communication skills; EMT preferred.

Evening/night shift 19:00–07:30 with competitive benefits and tuition support as part of a new, state-of-the-art campus opening May 2027.

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required).
• Medical Terminology (required).
• Current EMT Certification (preferred).
• Minimum one (1) year experience in acute hospital setting or in ambulance (preferred).
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required).
• Additional languages (preferred).
• Basic computer knowledge (required).

Responsibilities

• Must be conscientious with regard to procedures, and capable of working under pressure and interacting professionally with other departments within the hospital.
• Able to accept new ideas and learn position duties.
• Participate in the department’s performance improvement activities related to the Emergency Department.
