Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks an ER Tech I to support physicians and nurses in the Emergency Department. This role assists with patient transport, room setup and supplies management in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will handle registration, clerical duties, and contribute to a clean, organized ED environment while following policies and patient care standards. Training in phlebotomy and specimen collection is required as part of ongoing competency development.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current BLS CPR certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Positive service oriented communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
• Expert using technology, strong typing and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and skill to provide care appropriate to patient age.
• Assist with patient care and room preparation as directed by nursing staff.
• Orders and restocks patient care supplies to meet daily needs.
• Promotes patient satisfaction through service excellence.
• Complies with organizational policies and practices.
• Train and maintain competency in phlebotomy, nasal and throat cultures.
• Train and maintain competency in BWC drug screens.
• Witness patient signature and relay information if signer unavailable.
• Enter ED charges into the computer.
• Answer phones and route messages to appropriate departments.
• Maintain departmental competencies.
