Job summary

Childress Regional Medical Center is seeking an ER Tech to support the emergency department. The role includes assisting the RN with patient care, monitoring vital signs, and helping with exams and procedures, including obtaining EKGs.

You will help maintain equipment and ensure safe, prepared patient care areas, and assist with patient transport. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CNA experience or LVN preferred, and current BLS or be within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Certified Nurse Aid or Nurse Aid; LVN license preferred.
• Current BLS certification or within 3 months of hire.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in emergency room patient care and monitoring.
• Obtain vital signs, assist with exams and procedures.
• Perform EKGs and ensure a safe patient environment.
• Maintain equipment and prepare patient care areas.
• Assist with patient transport as needed.
