MercyOne is seeking an ER Tech / Patient Care Tech to support the Emergency Department. This role provides direct patient care, performs phlebotomy and EKGs, and assists with clinical tasks across age groups, under RN/physician guidance.

12-hour evening shifts are available, with weekend and holiday rotation. The position requires a high school diploma and healthcare experience; BLS certification is required within six weeks of hire.

Formación

• Provides direct patient care and supports Emergency Department staff.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs and assistive skills across age groups.
• Coordinates communications between nursing and hospital departments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist triage nursing to meet waiting area needs and patient vitals.
• Stocking and preparing patient areas; assist EMS patient arrivals.
• Transport patients to various departments within the hospital.
• Assist with patient personal hygiene and daily care.
• Collect and label specimens accurately.
