Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Emergency Room Tech to assist with supportive nursing care under the direction of the RN. This part-time night position offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include clerical and courier duties, stocking and transporting, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and patient care tasks. A HS diploma or GED, BLS, and EMT/CNA license or active license are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• BLS/CPR required by hire (AHA or Red Cross).
• CPI within 6 months of hire.
• Florida EMT, National EMT or CNA license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; basic computer skills.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Job Overview:

• Other duties as assigned including departmental and/or facility based

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED equivalent.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS upon hire
• CPI within 6 months.
• Florida EMT License, National EMT License, or CNA License.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
• Previous experience preferred.
