Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Emergency Services Technician in Baton Rouge, LA to support ER staff with approved patient treatments and procedures under supervision. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and Specialized Training required.
• Must meet one of: Nurse Aide Certification, CMA, Louisiana EMT license, or be a junior/senior in an accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide approved patient treatments and procedures under supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Participate in patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Safely manage patient clothing and valuables and maintain linens and sterile setup for procedures.
• Handle medication retrieval and delivery to nursing staff as directed.
