Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital in Illinois seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room on the night shift. The ideal candidate holds a BSN and an IL RN license, with ADN acceptable if a BSN is pursued within three years.

ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC must be completed within one year of hire. You will work with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER.

Qualifications

• BSN is required and IL RN license is mandatory.
• ADN may be considered if the candidate commits to obtaining a BSN within three years.
• ACLS, PALS/ENPC and TNCC certifications must be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while documenting accurately.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning.
