Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ER at St. Joseph’s Hospital South in Riverview, FL. This full-time position involves varying shifts, including every other weekend, with on-site, in-person duties.

Qualifications

RN license required.
Diploma/Associate/Bachelor or higher in Nursing.
1 year ER nursing experience.
BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA).
ACLS certification (AHA).
PALS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

Care for a group of patients in the ER using nursing process and clinical standards.
Delegate patient care activities to healthcare team members.
Plan and update care in collaboration with patients and family.
Monitor patient vitals and assessments and communicate with the care team.
Respond to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Maintain professional accountability and development.
