Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Massillon Emergency Department. The ED RN will provide direct nursing care, perform assessments, and coordinate with the care team for safe, timely interventions.

The role requires active Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS training as appropriate, with BSN preferred. Shifts are full-time, afternoons (11am–11pm), in a fast-paced department that serves a broad age range.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current, active licensure as a Registered Nurse through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Obtain and maintain current American Heart Association (AHA) training in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certification preferred for RNs meeting applicable certification eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, primary nursing care to ED patients across acuity levels.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document vital signs, history, medications and symptoms.
• Initiate and monitor treatments, IV access, and medication administration per policy.
• Collaborate with physicians, EMS, lab, radiology and the healthcare team to ensure safe patient care.
• Maintain timely documentation and uphold quality and safety standards.
