Job summary

Summa Health System, Wadsworth Campus, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time role provides 36 hours per week with shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The ED environment requires critical thinking, teamwork and strong clinical skills to deliver timely patient care.

Candidates should hold a BSN or have an ADN with a plan to obtain BSN within three years, OH RN license, and ACLS/ED experience as noted. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BSN required; associates may apply but must obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Current Ohio RN license to practice.
• CCNE or ACEN-accredited nursing program completed.
• One year of RN experience may be required for specialty/shift options.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate and/or delegate nursing care and manage resources for patients and families.
• Deliver care with the goal of attaining, maintaining and restoring optimum health.
• Utilize knowledge of basic nursing principles and evidence-based practice in ED care.
