Job summary

Southeastern Medical Center in Ohio seeks a Staff RN for the Emergency Department on a full-time, 7am-7pm schedule. The role provides general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7 environment and participates in a high reliability organization focused on safety and quality.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delegate to LPNs and UAPs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Licensure in Ohio and BLS certification are required to join an evolving care team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required (BSN preferred within 5 years of employment).
• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation: implement and evaluate care to achieve outcomes.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement and quality initiatives.
• Operations: contribute to safety, quality and efficiency in daily duties.
