Job summary
OSF Healthcare is seeking a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) in Peoria, Illinois to provide expert and compassionate care to sexual assault victims primarily in the Emergency Department. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and active participation in patient recovery. Required qualifications include a current Registered Nurse licensure in Illinois or Michigan and completion of IAFN accredited training. Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
- Completion of IAFN accredited SANE Adult/Adolescent and/or Pediatric didactic course.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Providers BLS required.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert level care to sexual assault victims.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers across the care continuum.
- Assess and support physical symptoms while offering psychological support.
